FOR VISITORS
We’re Glad You’re Here! And We Mean It.
When and where are services held?
Typically, we worship on Saturdays and Sundays, but we are now live streaming our worship at 5 p.m. on Saturdays, with a recorded version ready to watch any time afterwards.
How do I get to St. Mark?
St. Mark is a hidden gem in Newport Beach. In fact, you may have driven by our campus many times and didn’t know we were here. Our campus is located on the northwest corner of Macarthur Blvd. and San Joaquin Hills Rd.
Our address is:
2200 San Joaquin Road
Newport Beach, CA 92660
To get specific directions, see the map below.
What should I expect when I arrive?
Saturdays
You’ll be welcomed in the narthex (lobby) of the sanctuary by one of our friendly ushers, who will give you a bulletin for the service. We’re also happy to give you a name tag if you like, but there’s no pressure to wear one.
We serve communion every Saturday, and all are welcome to receive gluten-free crackers or a small piece of bread to dip into the communion cup (filled with grape juice). We do not share communal cups.
After worship, you are welcome to chat with Pastor Mark Davis about your faith journey, ask questions about his message or St. Mark.
Sundays
Our friendly greeters will welcome you as you arrive and point you towards the sanctuary, where you’ll receive a worship bulletin from one of our ushers. At the beginning of worship, we invite you to sign the Friendship Pad, which is passed down each row.
We serve communion on the first Sunday of the month. After worship, Pastor Mark Davis is available to chat with you, and you’re also invited to join us for coffee and snacks on the patio!
How should I dress for the service?
Saturdays are informal, and casual attire is typical. On Sundays, you’ll see folks in dressy, business and casual attire, so whatever your style, you’ll fit right in!
Do you offer assistance for those with special needs?
We offer accessible parking and our sanctuary is wheelchair-accessible. We also offer assisted listening devices and seat cushions at both services.
Do you have programs for children?
On Sundays, we offer childcare in the nursery rooms adjacent to the sanctuary, and Sunday School in our classrooms (located in the Fellowship Hall). One of our ushers can direct you to the nursery, where a caregiver will lead you through the sign-in process.
Children are included at the beginning of our worship service during “Time with Young Church.” They are then escorted by parents and teachers to their classrooms. Parents can pick up their children after worship from the classrooms.
Can I bring my baby into church?
We love babies and they are always welcome to join their parents in the service. If they get fussy, we have a Cry Room adjacent to the sanctuary where parents can take babies/young children. Kids can play, while parents can watch and hear the worship service. You’ll often find you’re not alone!
