Our Church Officers

Our Elders and Deacons serve the church congregation and community

What is a Deacon? What is an Elder? If you’re new to the Presbyterian Church, these terms may be confusing. Deacons help connect our congregation to the needs of the wider community through a variety of non-profit programs and organizations. Elders serve on Session, the governing body of the church, and also serve as liaisons to our St. Mark commissions and committees. Deacons and Elders serve three-year terms, and are ordained and installed by the St. Mark congregation. St. Mark is blessed to have these individuals, who are representative of all of our congregation, sharing their time and talents.
