Creative Organizer of Music Ministry

DeJohn Brown, Jr. shares his musical gifts with our St. Mark congregation, as well as in the wider community. He has served as a choral teacher at Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights for the past nine years, and is also a private vocal coach and professional musician in the Orange County area. He holds a BA in music education with a choral emphasis from Cal State Fullerton.

He is a member the award-winning vocal ensemble “Choral Art Initiative,” a group focused on illuminating emerging choral music and inspiring musical creativity. Additionally, he is a member of Southern California Vocal Association, which supports choral conductors and advances vocal music in Southern California.

DeJohn has performed in many popular venues across the United States and Europe. He has worked with many famous musicians across all musical genres, including Andrea Bocelli, Eric Whitacre, Stephen Schwartz, Celine Dione and others.
