Beginning this weekend the Deacons will be collecting school supplies as part of the Project Hope Alliance (PHA) Back-To-School Program. PHA is an organization that supports local homeless children and encourages them to stay in school, with a goal of ending the cycle of homelessness. PHA is in need of the following items for the start of the new school year: backpacks, No. 2 pencils, markers, colored pencils, coloring books, lunch boxes, folders (letter size), calculators, scientific calculators, rulers and compasses/protractors. Gift cards in increments of $25 to Target, Amazon or Walmart are also needed. Bring your items to church during any worship service beginning July 10/11 or 17/18 and place them in the red wagon or you can leave items in the St. Mark Office during office hours.
