The St. Mark Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir is committed to providing “The Sacred Word in Sacred Song” at Sunday morning worship services. Numbering almost fifty singers, the choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. In addition to regular worship services, the choir also presents music at special services on Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday or Good Friday and at other occasions throughout the year. Membership in the Chancel Choir is open to anyone who loves to sing. For more information, contact Music Director Richard Messenger.
Handbell choirs at St. Mark meet weekly and “ring” for worship services as well as on special occasions. Handbell ringers range in age from teens to retirees and all share a love of music and a desire to donate their time and talent to enhance worship at St. Mark. We currently have two handbell choirs, both under the direction of Dr. Ken Kelley:
The St. Mark Handbell Choir meets from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. each Sunday morning. The St. Mark Ringers meet from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. each Tuesday morning. For more information, contact Ken Kelley at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 949-379-7276.
